"Late one night, Sam walks into a cafe...and wakes up in a ghost town, abducted with other "special children" by the yellow-eyed demon. Meanwhile, Dean searches through a 3,000-mile haystack for his brother."

*This show has a large number of recurring characters: Bobby, Ash, Ava, Andy.

*This show also has an incredibly high body count - Ash, Ava, Andy, the blonde girl, Sam, random people at the roadhouse

*This is where we find out what Azazel was doing in his nursery when he was a baby

*Back to the plot! Finally!

*I was glad to see the special children and Azazel again.

*I never guessed that Ava was the evil one until the end.

*This reminds me of a few episodes back when Sam was talking about how maybe the demon doesn't make them evil, but it pushes them far enough that they become bad on their own. I think that's very much what's happened to Ava and to Jake here.

*The end is SOOO HEARTBREAKING, and so well acted by both of them.

*They killed Ash and Andy. :( I liked both of them.

*I have a little continuity problem. If Sam is Lucifer's true vessel, why on earth is Azazel going to put him into a position to get killed? Because it's clear in season 5 that Sam isn't just Lucifer's vessel because he happens to be one of the special children, yadda yadda, but because it's a birthright destiny sort of deal. So Sam was already Lucifer's true vessel at this point, and I can't imagine he'd be happy with Azazel's little "Survivor" contest.

I think they might have had two plans going. It's the only way to explain Lillith trying to kill him later one. My thoughts are right now they are actually trying to run a rebellion in Hell and Azazel actually is trying to get the best candidate.

If getting demons to do things is like herding cats, it kinda makes sense. Even the higher ups are more focused on their own personal gain than the big picture. Since it takes two to tango and pull Armageddon off and the demons weren't talking to the angels about when it should happen, they figured *shrug* what the hell? Maybe Armageddon seemed like a pipe dream that would work itself out if it was meant to happen. Which it did.

Very likely. That's a good point and one I hadn't thought of. I always thought that Azazel was supposed to be working with Lucifer, but I guess that isn't necessarily true.

Have I mentioned how much your icon turns me on?

He was supposed to be, but everyone is in it for themselves. He was listening to Lucifer's whispers and planning a rebellion at the same time, lining up as many plots as he could I guess. Meanwhile Lillith also wanted Lucifer to rise, but was ready to kill Sam if he was going to be the one to defeat her.

No, but it was easy to guess ;) I think I saved all of her shirtless Sam icons ;)

(if you made this journal a community that only you could post to, you could use all of your own icons. It's basically the same as having a journal, but instead of having two separate accounts, you use your login to post in a community. Your friends who want to read your SPN stuff can follow that community without posting access, and you don't have to log in and out and you get to use your icons. If that made any sense XD It's what I do with my icons and written works cause I like having all my icons)
