RANDOM THOUGHTS

*I love the Circa 1998 music, cell phones, clothing, special effects. It's strange to think that stuff that was around when I was twenty years old looks so dated, but it's also quite charming in a way.

*So far Episode 4 is my favorite. Made me cry. Of course, I'm really sensitive to that 'Ghost' sort of thing.

*Of all the sisters, I think I like Phoebe best. Prudence just seems so...stuffy, and Piper is just kind of boring so far. But Phoebe's fun. :)

THINGS I LIKED

*I like the friction between the sisters, and how they have to come together as one unit to defeat evil. I love stories that are based on a family dynamic.

*I like that it seems that there's a large number of "baddies" to fight. So far we've seen Warlocks, Demons, Shapeshifters...and the Chinese version of the Devil? Can't wait to see more of the mythology.

*I love seeing how the sisters cope with their newfound powers. I love how Phoebe seems to embrace it and tries to use it, how Prudence and Piper are at first afraid to use it. They should have some struggle with this, it's realistic.

*The episode with their father was good too. I'd like to learn more about him - what he knows, why he left.

*I like the cat. It must be a special witchy cat?

THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE

*I think they sometimes spend just a little bit too much time on the relational aspects and not quite enough time on the climax of the story. Beating the baddies sometimes seems just a little too easy.

*I don't quite understand why Prudence is so awful to Andy. He's pretty persistent for the way he's been treated!

Overall, I'm really enjoying it, and can't wait to watch more. :)
