RANDOM THOUGHTS
*This is the ep where Sam kills the crossroads demon.
*This is also where we find out that there's a "boss" crossroads demon, ie. Crowley, who actually holds the contracts.
*Sam is pretty brutal and cold killing her at the end.
*Apparently, spirits don't have to be from people who are actually physically dead...
*Spirits can control and influence the minds of living people? I think that's the first time we've seen that happen.
THINGS I LIKED ABOUT THIS EP
*Sam and Dean are still at odds about Dean's crossroads deal. It's sad. They both love each other so much and so are working at cross purposes. Dean's angry because Sam wants to try to get him out of the deal, which could kill him, and Sam's willing to risk his life to save Dean. Touching and sad.
*I loved the fairy tale aspect of this one. That was pretty cool. ;)
*It was cute that Sam knew all the fairy tales.
THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT THIS EP
*There was a definite parallel to The Sixth Sense in the story with the littler girl wanting to tell the truth of what happened to her to someone who would listen. Almost too strong of one.
*We never really find out what happened to the little girl, why her mother did it. Münchausen syndrome by Proxy? we never know. And if it WAS, then that's even more creativity zapped away from this one, as that's what happened in The Sixth Sense...
