LITTLE THINGS I NOTICED

*The scene where Dean breaks in to get the silver knife is almost EXACTLY the same as the scene in the pilot, intentionally, I would guess.

*Is this the 'father' Djinn, re: 6:01? 'This is for our father'?

*LOL, Dean is dating the beer girl

THINGS I LIKED ABOUT THIS EP

*I love the dream world Dean has. Sam and Jessica together, his mother alive, Dean working fixing cars, living with a nurse. It's sweet.

*I love how the little bursts of reality keep coming back to him.

*I love how he has to struggle with the knowledge that because of his happy life, others have died. I love watching this guilt and responsibility play out in Dean.

*I love snobby law-school Sam. :)

THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT THIS EP

*Not much. I really liked this ep. I am curious why his dad died, though, if this is a dream, perfect world. Angst there?

I love the "You're drinking gin?" exchange.

I think John is dead because Dean is starting to dislike him the way he does in later (and current) episodes. Also maybe he wants Mary to himself.
(though the actual reason is JDM was probably unavailable)
