Summary
"A portrait of a long-dead family is amazingly lifelike. Maybe that's because one of the likenesses is alive...and lethal."

Little Things I Noticed
*Why is Dean lying to pick up girls? He usually doesn't have to do that, does he?
*Sam's fear that everyone he gets close to ends up dying is reconfirmed, of course, in "Heart"
*This is the first time Sam lets himself really kiss a girl since Jessica. There was the girl in "Hook Man" but that was very brief and he cut it off.
Things I Liked About this Ep
*The Sam angst. I adore all of Sam's romantic angst, even when things are fated to fail (as in this one, as we know that he never sees Sarah again after this ep, and presumably it doesn't get farther than kissing, since Dean is waiting in the car. So sad.
*I love Sam's loyalty to Jess. It's been what, over six months since she died and this is about the first time he's allowed himself to even look at another girl seriously.
*I love how awkward and cute Sam is on his little 'date'.
*I love how Dean teases him. At the same time he's making fun of him, it's also really loving and caring.
*The story is pretty good, too. The twist of it being the little girl instead of the dad caught me the first time, although now that I know, it was pretty obvious.
Things I Didn't Like About this Ep
*Dean seemed to be acting a bit crazy. I mean, is he really going to jeopardize their case by getting them in trouble with the owner of the art house and losing his wallet? It seems to me he's a bit smoother than that.
*I don't think Dean would have let Sam go into the house by himself, even if they had destroyed the bones. I just don't. He's too protective.
