Supernatural Rewatch - 1:04 'Phantom Traveler'

First of all, yeah, I know this is a LOST icon. But it somehow feels appropriate for this episode. :)

Little Things I noticed

*Sam gets his first ID!

*Dressing up to play the part appears to be Sam's idea. This is also the first time they do it.

*Our first episode that mentions Indiana! The airport they fly out of is supposed to be Indianapolis.

*Creepy lighting is gone.

Things I liked about this episode

*The boys really seem to click in this episode. I buy that they're brothers.

*Poor Sam, still having so much trouble over Jessica. He can't sleep because of the nightmares he's been having, the demon talking about her knocks him for a loop.

*Sam's nightmares about the job...I wonder if he's having any premonitions yet?

*Our first Demon! And apparently Dean has never fought one before. Better get used to it.

*I love that Dean is afraid of flying. It's nice to see him with a weakness. And trust me, I feel for him. One of my biggest fears too. I also love that he hums Metallica to calm himself down. Classic. Also love the "Why do you think I drive everywhere?" line. Get that all the time myself. ;)

*I love how they tie the search for Dad into it. Dad's friend calls...Dad's friend's been talking about Sam (aww, that was cute, Sam's reaction when he found out his dad talked about him a lot), Dad's voicemail at the end. And I love how angry Sam is upon hearing the voicemail message, as if Dad knows where they are and is just ignoring them, just when he needs to find him most.

Things I Didn't Like About this Ep

*Very little, actually. Although considering airport security, I'm surprised they didn't have to wait through a big long security line and everything to get on the plane.
