Well, just let me say I'm glad to be back in Derry - London or not - as long as my brother's evil bitch of a girlfriend is nowhere around.

No, actually I absolutely love it here.
I love the people, and I think the country is stunningly beautiful (even in January), and I love how close I am to the rest of Europe, and I love that I get free medical care...etc. etc.
Although I must say I'm craving some real Mexican food.![[]](https://p.dreamwidth.org/118472d3b8a2/709573-233748/www.minastirith.com/ubb/icons/icon7.gif)

Usually, I like the rain. It's gentle and calming and nice when I'm sleeping. But I don't like it when I have to walk back from the store or something in it. And not having a car (which I usually like as well) I sometimes don't have any other options.
At least it's a lot warmer here than it is at home in January.

Yes, but suprisingly, Indiana has a fantastic selection of Mexican food. We're a very agricultural state, and we have a lot of migrant workers, many of whom decide to settle there - and start resturants. My town of 13,000 has three authentic Mexican restaurants - the type where they don't really speak English at all and you kind of point to the number on the menu.
Ah, I miss it!!!
EDIT: And I'd love some good company now too. *sigh*![[]](https://p.dreamwidth.org/78e0fb33cb44/709573-233748/www.minastirith.com/ubb/icons/icon9.gif)
