Poor, poor Jasper. There was so much pain for him in this story, and it was all so beautifully written. It was interesting to read this after spending the morning analyzing our Jaspers, thanks to the poll that sirenprincess posted.
I loved the interaction between Jasper and Roaslie, first with him thinking about how much in common they shared, and then with her realizing it at the end.
And of course the bit between Alice and Jasper in the woods was beautiful and touching. I love Jasper realizing that Alice guesses a lot more than he thought she did. And the reference back to your other story, with her stopping immediately when he said no, was great.
