I think what Sam said while under the influence was a little worse... The way to Dean's pain centers is through reminders of Hell (along with family threats and insults o'course). What Sam said was pretty terrible, especially since it's coming from Sam :(

Death didn't give Alastair the scythe. There's no way. Alastair or someone stole it.
I don't like how Show makes Sam's powers a bad thing.
