SUMMARY: "Sam and Dean come to a town where wishes come true and no one is careful about what they ask for."

MY THOUGHTS

*This is the ep where Dean admits that he does remember Hell, but tells Sam he isn't going to talk about it

*Sam says he's 'not that person anymore' in reference to wishing to go back to Stanford and his own life. When Dean asks what he WOULD wish for, he answers 'Lilith's head, bloody, on a plate'

*I think this is the first time Sam mentions Dean's drinking problem, which seems to have started when Dean got back from Hell, and has continued well into season 6.

Things I Liked About this Ep

*The "Teddy Bear Doctors" scene is adorable, as is the depressive teddy bear.

*I love how totally lost and confused Sam and Dean are at the beginning of the ep. How utterly and completely clueless about everything that's going on.

*It's just a cute, crack-y story over all.

*I'm glad Dean stopped lying to Sam about Hell.

Things I Didn't Like About this Ep

*Dean's drinking problem wouldn't bother me so much if he didn't drive all the time...

*I don't like the growing division between the brothers

SUMMARY: "Sam and Dean struggle to protect a girl who can hear angels from demons, while Sam comes clean about what he did while Dean was in Hell."

MY THOUGHTS

*This is the ep where we first meet Anna.

*Alastair has white eyes like Lilith

*Anna can see Demons in their true form.

*Alastair made the Virgin Mary statue weep blood tears

*The Crossroad Demon tells Sam that they have things right where they want them, with Dean in Hell.

*This is where we find out that there are more than 66 seals (Anna speculates there are more than 600) but that Lilith only has to break 66, that's what makes it so hard

*We see that Dean knew Alastair in Hell

*Sam's powers (at least at this point) don't work on Alastair

*This is the ep where we get to see Sam pop Dean's dislocated shoulder back in

THINGS I LIKED ABOUT THIS EP

*We finally get to find out why Sam trusts Ruby. While I don't ship Sam/Ruby, I do really like both of them, and I like their storyline

*I like seeing Anna before she goes psycho

*I like seeing Sam without Dean. He's so sad and heartbroken. Whether Ruby had good intentions or not, she saved his life in more than one way, because it appears he was on a course to drink himself to death. Wow, these Winchester boys and their alchohol problems

*I love Ruby's French Fry addiction.

THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT THIS EP

*Yeah, the Winchesters' alcohol issues. Too much drinking and then driving. I don't have a problem with drinking, I do it myself, but I really don't think that TV needs to be showing them drinking and driving (or drinking and then driving soon after, in most cases) so much. It's not a good thing to show. I mean, sure, I understand that they're supposed to be completely messed up, and that's why they're doing it, but it's still not good.
