MY THOUGHTS

* This is the episode where we first see Bobby's panic room

* This is the episode where the Apocalypse Plot is first spoken of

* This ep has lots of recurring characters who appear as witnesses - Meg Masters, Agent Henricksen, Ronald Resnick

* Lilith is breaking the seals, and there are 66

* Angels, according to Bobby, are the only thing that can rescue a soul from hell

* Lilith tortured the people in Jus in Bello

THINGS I LIKED ABOUT THIS EP

* The Apocalypse Plot begins!

* Dean's questioning. Dean's not understanding why angels brought HIM back, how he doesn't want to be singled out by God, how he doesn't understand how if God exists, he lets bad things happen to good people. Dean just seems to be having a big moral debate in himself, and I like it.

* Sam's faith. Sort of the juxtaposition to Dean's doubt. We discovered in Houses of the Holy that Sam has faith, and he doesn't seem to have lost it. He actually seems kind of crazy excited at the idea that angels exist.

* Ruby's fear. Apparently demons are terrified of angels.

* The guilt, that makes the hunters hesitate before getting rid of the witnesses, often leading to their deaths

* The fact that I now know that we have started a major plot, that will last two seasons, and be awesome. :)

* Castiel and Dean's discussion at the end, about how he's not there to sit on Dean's shoulder, and that angels are soldiers, not fluffy little guardian angels

THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT THIS EP

* Meg. Will she ever go away? I don't mind the character when she's played by other people, but I really, really don't like that hammy actress.
