LITTLE THINGS I NOTICED

*Sam is still wearing his cast.

*Sam's immunity makes a lot of sense. Luci isn't going to want his vessels to drop dead from the virus he's using to destroy the world.

THINGS I LIKED ABOUT THIS EP

*I like brooding, tortured!Dean. He's got so much on his shoulders, dealing with his death, and dealing with what John told him about Sam, and watching everything come true that he feared...I think Dean is really developing as a character in this season.

*I liked the whole ambiance of this episode. It was creepy and tense and exciting, and a lot like those virus thrillers that I've always liked (e.g. 'Outbreak'). I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff.

*I liked that this was just a 'test' for a bigger usage later on, at the Apocalypse, I suppose.

THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT THIS EP

*Wouldn't we have known if the nurse got infected? I assume she'd been at the hospital the whole time? Who infected her, or did I just miss it?

*This is where we meet Ava

*They're playing 'Supermassive Black Hole' in the roadhouse. Love that song.

*This is where we find out what John Winchester whispered in Dean's ear.

THINGS I LIKED ABOUT THIS EP

* I love the Azazel's children eps. I love how they've built from Sam's first little vision. And now they're all starting to come together, to build into a much bigger plot. Love it.

* I love Dean's desperate need to protect Sam. Awww.

* I love how Sam gets Gordon arrested instead of killed. Nice. :)

THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT THIS EP

* Sam shouldn't have gone off on his own. He should have known better. Bad stuff always happens when he does. Meg, anyone?
