God, I meant to lay down for an hour or two and take a nap...

Six hours later...

I was up so late last night. I can't believe I fell asleep around ten and slept until 4:30pm.

*dies*

Yeah, luckily I only have class on Tuesday and Wednesday...

Studying and research in between, but I can do that on my own schedule.

I remember making persuasive speeches - of course, I always thought they were quite enjoyable. I loved making people angry at me. Is this a speech class, Hector, or a debate class? 

I took both and majorly enjoyed both of them. 

This year is wrapping quickly to an end. In five weeks or so, I'll be heading back to the States and have to get started on my Masters' Thesis. I'm actually looking forward to it - maybe because I don't quite understand yet how much work it's going to be!

My Spanish teacher was hyped up on speed.

Or at least, that's how she acted.

She frightened me sometimes.

I think I'll be quite happy to stay in the dark about that a bit longer.

Bah. Has nothing to do with that. I just don't like math.

I'm a bit of an overachiever. Don't like B's.  So I always push myself like crazy and sometimes I end up getting freaked out when I can't do as well as I like.

Nah, I had a cruel, awful teacher sabotage my math skills for me. 

Anyway, I'm quite happy with Poli Sci. It's fun.

I want to be asleep right now.

But I can't.

I slept until 4:30pm today. That's probably part of the reason I can't sleep.

I'm feeling creative. I should write a Curufin fan fic.

Hmm. I don't feel like writing anything.

So what does one do at 4am when everyone is asleep and you don't have a car, and you're not tired?

LOL, I could go back to the trashy romance novel I was reading. Brain candy is good for sleeping.

Can't do that here. For one thing I have to be quiet, because I'm in student housing. For another, the gym's closed.

But I think I solved (or came really close to solving) the quote game.

LOL, I admit, they're my guilty pleasure. 

After a tough day reading about consociational democracy, power sharing, parity of esteem, theories of political accomodation, and brutal terrorist acts, it's rather fun to relax and read about some 'taut male thighs'.

I do like it. But it does make your brain feel like exploding after a while. You look at the pages and it feels like it's written in some strange foreign language.

Well, I'm off to read.

I miss my gym. I did cardio every day, and weights every other when I was at home.

Now I've gotten fat and flabby. I'm going to have a lot of working out to do when I get home.

I did competitive swimming in high school

That's a lot of work. I can do without the 6:00am practices.

Cardio feels good but gets very boring. Thank god for my iPod.
